That picture was taken in 1975 when I was in the Rutherglen bluebell, the flutes we used back in those days were deboras and I believe if my memory serves me right we were at Tollcross park for the annual demonstration.
In those days protestants could walk down the queens highway without any fear of parades getting attacked and everyone enjoyed themselves. The people on the pavement could participate in a small refreshment as they cheered the bands to their destination.
nowadays most of the hair is gone, and what is left is turning grey, I have the mid life bulge and life is not getting any easier as I have all the worries of you lot to contend with
